Formats and concentration
EDP vs EDT perfume difference
EDP and EDT are concentration-style labels commonly used for eau de parfum and eau de toilette. EDP usually suggests a more concentrated version, but definitions overlap and two versions may also have different compositions rather than being identical scents at different strengths.
A HUME Fragrance buying guide

Compare exact versions
Read the full name and current notes for each product. A familiar bottle design does not establish that an EDT and EDP will have the same balance.
Separate lasting and projecting
Longer perception and greater noticeability are different qualities. The concentration label alone cannot guarantee either in a finished perfume.
Choose for your own use
Try both exact versions if possible and record enjoyment and comfort. Do not assume EDP is the quality upgrade or EDT the compulsory beginner option.
