How to store attar
Store attar according to the exact maker's guidance with its container securely closed. The traditional name does not establish one carrier or shelf life, so retain the product information rather than applying one rule to every small attar bottle.

Keep the bottle identifiable
Save the maker, product name and any formulation information. Small bottles can look similar, making the label important for both storage and later comparisons.
Protect it from unsuitable exposure
Follow the label's temperature and light guidance. Do not assume a dark bottle alone makes direct sun or a hot vehicle an appropriate location.
Use its supplied closure
Dabbers and other applicators should remain assembled and closed as directed. Avoid transferring the liquid to an unlabelled decorative container.
