How to test floral perfumes through the day
A day-long floral test should follow the flower-like impression and the complete supporting structure. A rose or jasmine listing does not mean that one flower must remain isolated and obvious for the entire wear.

Describe the floral style
Write fresh petals, richer floral character or a softer texture if those fit your impression. Your own words are more useful than forcing every listed flower into the record.
Notice what develops
Woods, musks or warmth may become more noticeable later. Record the full scent instead of declaring it gone when the opening floral balance changes.
Compare enjoyment and use
Choose an appropriate normal occasion and check whether you enjoy the later character there. A repeated favorite matters more than identifying every note correctly.

Record the floral character and the later overall impression in separate parts of the same wear log.
