How to test perfume longevity
Test longevity by recording a label-directed application and checking the same fragrance at chosen points during an ordinary day. Keep later detectability, surrounding presence and enjoyment separate, and repeat before treating one result as reliable.
A HUME Fragrance buying guide

Record the starting conditions
Save the exact version, applicator, wearing setting and application details. Avoid another unfamiliar fragrance during the trial so the later impression remains identifiable.
Choose observations in advance
Use points that fit your routine, such as after a commute or later at home. These are a testing plan, not a claim about how many hours the product should last.
Repeat and compare
Record what remains and whether you enjoy it. A casual wear test is useful personal evidence but not a controlled laboratory rating for every buyer.
