Performance basics
Nose blindness vs weak perfume
Nose blindness is a casual term for reduced awareness of an odor, while weak perfume is an imprecise performance judgment. Neither can be established simply because you stop noticing your own fragrance during one wear.
A HUME Fragrance buying guide

Separate perception and product
A scent may become quieter, your awareness may change or both may occur. Do not turn one self-observation into proof of a formula defect.
Use a repeatable record
Keep the exact item, application and setting clear and avoid mixing unfamiliar scents. Compare another ordinary trial instead of immediately increasing the amount.
Use outside feedback carefully
A willing observer can describe noticeability in that setting. Ask about presence rather than soliciting a compliment, and respect fragrance rules while testing.
Try this before you buy
Record the application, your later perception and any independent observation as separate facts.
