How many hours should an EDP last
An EDP label does not establish a required number of hours. Eau de parfum is a concentration-style descriptor rather than a wear-time certification, so judge the exact fragrance and the kind of presence you need.

Identify the exact version
An EDP can differ in composition from a related EDT or parfum. Version names and conditions matter more than comparing generic label categories.
Define the endpoint
A close-range scent, surrounding presence and enjoyable later character have different endpoints. Decide which you want to observe before counting elapsed time.
Repeat the relevant trial
Use similar appropriate conditions and record the actual application. One person's result or one unusually long trace is not a universal expectation for every buyer.
